Explanation of the problem

I bought a number of units in Ajman, the developer’s office was closed and nobody could tell me what was going on.

How I found Freehold?

Explanation of the problem

I have been a resident in Ajman for coming up to 20 years. I purchased an off plan property in Ajman so that one day when the project is completed I could stop paying rent. After a while, I couldn’t find the developer and thought that there was a possibility that I had lost all the money that I invested in the project and I would have to continue paying rent.

How I found Freehold?

Explanation of the problem

I was an investor in the UAE Real Estate market. I used to buy and sell apartments in Dubai and Ajman. My last investment in real estate was with a developer in Ajman where after the collapse of 2008, the developer disappeared, and the project consequently completely stopped. I felt very uncomfortable and ethically not intrigued to sell the project as the situation was not clear.
